DESCRIPTION:To be eligible for a Community Grant\, projects must be based within the boundaries of School District 72.  \n\n\n\nPlease note that your organization must be a federally registered charity to apply. Registered charities can also apply as a fiscal host for a non-profit society. ​Eligibility criteria is outlined on our website.  \n\n\n\n​If you have any questions about your organization’s eligibility or require more information\, please feel free to contact us at info@crfoundation.ca. \n\n\n\nEligibility \n\n\n\nThe Campbell River Community Foundation is committed to creating a healthy and vibrant community.  \n\n\n\nWe engage our donors and area non-profits to create opportunities for all citizens to experience a high quality of life. Since 1997\, the Campbell River Community Foundation has awarded over a million dollars in grants to a wide range of registered charities committed to building a better Campbell River.  \n\n\n\nOur Community Grants are made possible through the generosity of community-minded donors. We work closely with our donors to connect them with causes that matter in a variety of areas. Please review the information provided to determine if your organization and initiative meet our criteria for granting. \n\n\n\nYour organization must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for a Community Grant: \n\n\n\n– The organization must be located in the Community Foundation’s service area\, which is within School District #72’s (Campbell River and Area) boundaries.– Provide all information requested according to the Grant Making Guidelines.– Provide a benefit to the citizens of the geographic area served by the Foundation.– The organization receiving the funds must be a CRA Registered Charity and the charity number must be included in the application.  *A registered charity may apply in partnership with a non-profit organization wishing to accomplish a project or initiative that meets project eligibility criteria.– Projects must align with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). For more information about the SDG’s please click HERE.– Applicants must demonstrate fiscal responsibility and effective management. \n\n\n\nCommunity Grants are for projects and programs for: \n\n\n\n– Education\, training\, and capacity building workshops and professional development sessions– Capital acquisitions– Equipment\, furniture and technology– Renovations and building upgrades– Direct services to the community– Benefit a wide audience– Contribute to the betterment of the community– Involve collaboration and partnerships– Build on existing community strengths and needs– Use resources efficiently and effectively \n\n\n\nWe do not fund projects and programs for: \n\n\n\n– Individuals or businesses– Deficits or project expenses incurred prior to the application being approved– Fundraising activities– Endowments– Religious or political activities \n\n\n\nExample of project categories: \n\n\n\n– Arts & Culture– Heritage & Historical– Education & Literacy– Health & Community Wellness– Environmental– Fish Enhancement– Housing Security– Youth & Seniors

Change lives. \n\n\n\nWhether you play\, sponsor\, donate\, or volunteer\, you are the hero our community has been waiting for! \n\n\n\n💥SUPERHERO ASSIGNMENT💥📍 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Assemble at Headquarters \n\n\n\nReport to your assigned hero transportation device (golf cart)\, secure your gadgets (golf clubs)\, and uncover your secret utility kit (swag bag) waiting on your seat! Arrive at high noon to scout the field of legends\, stock up on redemptions (mulligans)\, grab your power-up snack\, and calibrate your swing on the practice range.  \n\n\n\n📢 12:40 PM – The Mission Briefing \n\n\n\nHydration levels? Maximum. Sun-shield? Applied. Driver? Armed. Don’t miss the final tactical briefing before we deploy all the heroes to their starting positions for the mission ahead! \n\n\n\n🎯 1:00 PM – The Great Scramble Commences: Double Shotgun Start \n\n\n\nIt’s go time! All heroes will deploy across the course for a double shotgun start\, scrambling through 18 holes of trials\, triumphs\, and strategically placed super-sponsor power-ups.
