Community Services Recovery Fund

The Community Services Recovery Fund is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities and non-profits as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery. Charities and non-profits play a key role in addressing persistent and complex social problems faced by all communities. The Community Services Recovery Fund responds to what charities and non-profits need right now and supports organizations as they adapt to the long-term impacts of the pandemic.

The Campbell River Community Foundation accepted applications to this grant from non-profits, charities, and Indigenous governing bodies in school districts 72, 84 and 85 with the exception of the region in SD72 that the Quadra Island Community Foundation and Cortes Island Community Foundation serve.

This application is now CLOSED and projects are to be completed by the successful applicants by June 2024.ย  A total of $383,000 was delivered to fully fund 11 projects ranging from $10,000-$100,000 to organizations in Campbell River, Port McNeill, Sointula, and Alert Bay.
