This workshop is designed for organizations that donโt have the resources to hire a consultant to develop and execute a strategic planning process for their organization.
It will be a highly engaging and interactive workshop where basic elements of a quality strategic planning process will be shared and discussed. As a significant takeaway from the workshop, participants will develop a customized framework and process for their organization to utilize in the future.
Key topics covered in the workshop will include:
* Purpose and outcomes of the strategic planning process
* Data and perspective gathering
* Developing a โCurrent State Assessmentโ
* Board workshop
– Values
– Purpose
– Vision
– Strategic Objectives
* Annual Operating Plan
* Board Workplan
Ideally, organizations will have their Executive Director and possibly 2 or 3 Board Directors participate in the workshop.
Each participant will receive a workshop booklet containing the key elements of the strategic planning process and ample space to make notes and build a custom process.
