PROSPERITY FUND PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR POVERTY REDUCTION AND SOCIAL INCLUSION
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN MAY 24, 2024 – JUNE 24, 2024
We are one of over 50 Community Foundations in BC working to deliver the Community Prosperity Fund, a $25 million investment from the Government of B.C. that advances poverty reduction and social inclusion. The Campbell River Community Foundation is serving Campbell River, the North Island, and some of the coastal mainland. We have a total of $305k available for our catchment area. Organizations can apply for up to three years of funding for the ongoing work of organizations.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Charities, non-profits, and Indigenous serving organizations are encouraged to apply. If you are a non-qualified donee, you may need to work with a sponsoring organization to apply. Check out our Charity Directory to see registered Charities in our area if you are requiring a sponsoring organization to work with. Sponsoring organizations must be qualified donees. If you have an organization in mind that is not listed in our Charity Directory, you can confirm if they are a qualified donee by searching the CRA database of registered charities and other qualified donees.
ELIGIBILITY AT-A-GLANCE
Eligible organizations must meet the following criteria:
- You support communities in British Columbia;
- You are a charity, a non-profit organization, or an Indigenous-serving organization. See page 15 of the Application Guide for definitions.
- You have not received funding from the Lighthouse Organizations Fund, Recovery & Resiliency Fund or LEVEL BIPOC Grants.
*Note that the Community Services Recovery Fund is NOT the same as the Recovery and Resiliency Fund and does not disqualify you from applying to the Community Prosperity Fund!

HOW TO APPLY AT-A-GLANCE
Organizations may submit one application for funding. Applications are accepted through the online application portal that opens on May 24, 2024 at 9:00 AM PT.
Here’s what you can expect during your application process:

Please note that this PDF supports your preparation, but all applications must be submitted through the online portal. - The online application portal will be hosted by the Community Foundations of Canada and it will be open from May 24th to June 24th, 2024. Applications will be reviewed at the local level.
